Niki D’Andrea
Niki D’Andrea is a Phoenix-based journalist and editor. Her 28-year career includes editor positions at Phoenix New Times (2005-2011) and PHOENIX magazine (2011-2016). From 2017 to 2019, she was the executive editor of Times Media Group, which publishes more than a dozen community newspapers including The East Valley Tribune, Ahwatukee Foothills News, and Scottsdale Airpark News. She’s written about a range of topics including political elections, drug culture, the privatization of prisons, LGBTQ issues, and the modern art of indigenous peoples. Her work has appeared in publications including Forbes, Spin magazine, Houston Press, Echo magazine, and College Times, and on Arizona NPR affiliate KJJZ. When not chasing stories, D’Andrea cheers on her favorite sports team, the Phoenix Mercury of the WNBA, and enjoys playing classic rock records from her collection of vinyl albums.
